About this smoothie

Blueberry and yoghurt is a classic breakfast combination, whether in a bowl or in a glass. The berries bring gentle sweetness and colour, while natural yoghurt adds body and acidity. Almond drink keeps the smoothie drinkable, and half a banana smooths out the texture.

Blueberries are known for their anthocyanins and provide vitamin C and fibre, and yoghurt adds protein. It is a filling smoothie for breakfast or after a workout.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen blueberries work perfectly and give a thicker, colder smoothie.
  • A little lemon zest brightens the berry flavour.

Variations

Vegan version
Replace the natural yoghurt with soy yoghurt.
