About this smoothie

This is a classic breakfast smoothie formula: fruit for flavour and colour, dairy for creaminess and protein, and nuts for staying power. Blueberries bring a gentle sweetness and violet colour, macadamias a buttery, mild richness, and whole milk and yogurt a smooth, creamy body.

Blueberries provide vitamin C and fibre, milk and yogurt add protein and calcium. It is a filling glass for mornings when you have no time to sit down for breakfast.

Bartender tips

  • Macadamias are soft and blend easily, but soaking them for 10 minutes gives an even silkier result.
  • Frozen blueberries make it colder and thicker.

Variations

Plant based version
Use oat milk and soy yogurt instead of whole milk and natural yogurt.
