About this smoothie

Strawberries and kiwis are both rich in vitamin C, and together they balance sweetness and acidity well. A small amount of natural yoghurt adds a hint of creaminess without making the drink heavy. Because water is the main liquid, the smoothie stays light and fruity. It fits breakfast or an afternoon snack, especially in early summer when local strawberries are at their best.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen strawberries make the smoothie colder and thicker without ice.
  • If the kiwis are firm and sour, add a teaspoon of honey.

Variations

With banana
Add half a banana for a sweeter, creamier version.
