Taste

Sweet and tropical with creamy texture, a fresh green herb note and a hint of lime.

About this smoothie

Papaya has a mild, melon-like sweetness and is rich in vitamin C. With cherimoya, the smoothie becomes creamy without dairy or banana.

Flat-leaf parsley might seem unusual here, but its fresh, slightly peppery taste cuts through the sweetness of the tropical fruit. Parsley is also known for its vitamin C and vitamin K content. Lime juice balances papaya, which can taste a little flat on its own.

Bartender tips

  • Lime juice is worth adding: it brings papaya flavour to life.
  • Remove all seeds carefully: cherimoya seeds are not edible and must never go into the blender.

Variations

With mango
Replace the cherimoya with 100 g mango if you cannot find it.
