About this smoothie

Honeydew melon is one of the juiciest fruits, which is why it makes such light smoothies. Blackberries bring a pleasant tartness, fibre from their tiny seeds and a deep colour from their natural anthocyanins. Half a pear adds a round sweetness and gives the drink a bit more body.

This pure fruit smoothie contains no dairy and suits a warm afternoon, a light breakfast or a refreshment after sport. It is at its best in late summer.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen blackberries replace ice cubes and make the smoothie thicker.
  • Taste your melon first: a very sweet one needs less pear.

Variations

Minty version
