About this smoothie

Mango and pear complement each other well: the mango brings a bold tropical aroma, the pear softens it with a gentle, juicy sweetness. Coconut milk in drink form, the kind sold in cartons for pouring, adds creaminess without the heaviness of canned coconut milk. The combination is dairy free and naturally sweet. It fits a relaxed weekend breakfast or a mid-afternoon break when you want something filling but not heavy.

Bartender tips

  • Using canned coconut milk? Mix 50 ml of it with 100 ml water, otherwise it becomes very rich.
  • Chill the coconut milk beforehand for a properly cold smoothie.

Variations

With lime
Add 1 tsp lime juice and a little lime zest for a fresher finish.
