About this smoothie

Mango and banana provide the creamy base and natural sweetness, while kiwi adds acidity and a fresh green note. Both mango and kiwi are good sources of vitamin C. Fresh mint lifts the tropical fruit and makes the drink more refreshing. Most ripe fruit is sweet enough on its own, so the agave syrup or honey is optional. A filling smoothie for breakfast or after sport.

Bartender tips

  • Taste before sweetening; ripe mango and banana usually make syrup unnecessary.
  • Use mint leaves only, as the stems taste woody.

Variations

With lime
Add a teaspoon of lime juice to sharpen the flavour.
