Apple Banana Smoothie

Taste

Creamy and sweet, with fresh apple flavour and a smooth banana body.

About this smoothie

Apple and banana complement each other perfectly in a smoothie. The apple brings juiciness and a fresh, slightly tart flavour, the banana creaminess and natural sweetness. A few mint leaves are an optional extra that makes the drink more refreshing.

Both fruits are available all year and are inexpensive, so this is an ideal everyday smoothie. It makes a quick breakfast, a snack for school or work, or a simple drink after sport.

Bartender tips

  • A frozen banana makes the smoothie thicker and colder.
  • A pinch of cinnamon gives it an apple pie flavour.

Variations

Oat version
Add 1 tbsp rolled oats for a more filling breakfast smoothie.
