About this smoothie

This smoothie is designed as a small breakfast: rolled oats provide body and fibre, banana sweetness and potassium, and milk protein and calcium. A dash of almond milk adds a faint nutty note. Pomegranate seeds bring a fresh tartness that keeps the rich base from tasting heavy.

If you prefer a completely smooth drink, blend a little longer or strain it; otherwise the small pomegranate kernels add texture. Best enjoyed in the morning.

Bartender tips

  • Soaked oats blend more smoothly.
  • For a vegan version use only almond milk.
