About this smoothie

A banana oat smoothie is one of the simplest ways to have breakfast on the go. Oats bring fibre and keep you full for longer, while the banana provides natural sweetness and creaminess.

Whole milk makes the smoothie rich and gives it protein, and the almond milk adds a delicate, nutty aroma. Because the taste is so mild, it is easy to vary with cinnamon, cocoa or berries. Drink it soon after blending, as the oats slowly thicken the smoothie.

Bartender tips

  • Let the oats soak in the milk for 5 minutes before blending for a silkier texture.
  • A frozen banana makes it thick and cold.

Variations

Vegan
Replace the whole milk with more almond milk or oat drink.
