About this smoothie

This is a gentle green smoothie: baby spinach tastes very mild, so the fruit stays in the foreground. Pineapple brings acidity, the pear sweetness and a soft texture. Coconut water, the clear liquid of young coconuts, naturally contains potassium and adds a subtle nutty sweetness.

It is light enough for a hot day and works well after exercise or as a fresh start to the morning.

Bartender tips

  • Freeze the pineapple chunks for a colder, thicker smoothie.
  • Choose plain coconut water without added sugar.

Variations

With ginger
Add a thin slice of fresh ginger for warmth and spice.
