About this smoothie

Coconut water is the clear liquid from young green coconuts, lighter and less sweet than most fruit juices. It naturally contains potassium, and its gentle flavour suits tropical fruit. Mango provides body and sweetness, the pear adds juice and a soft texture.

Flat-leaf parsley rounds it off with a green, slightly peppery note. This version differs from our other mango and coconut water smoothies by its herbal accent. It works well on hot days or after a walk in the sun.

Bartender tips

  • Choose unsweetened coconut water without added flavours.
  • Chill all fruit beforehand, as there is no ice in this recipe.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use plain water instead of coconut water?

Yes; the smoothie will be a little less sweet and lose the coconut note.

Is coconut water the same as coconut milk?

No. Coconut water is thin and clear, coconut milk is made from the pressed flesh and is rich and creamy.

Is it vegan?

Yes, all ingredients are plant based.
