Lamb's Lettuce Kiwi Smoothie with Cucumber

Cucumber makes this green smoothie taste like a cold summer drink. It is light, barely sweet and tastes clearly of fresh greens and kiwi.

About this smoothie

Cucumber consists mostly of water, which is why it makes smoothies light and refreshing without adding much sugar. Combined with mild lamb's lettuce and tangy kiwi, it produces one of the less sweet green smoothies, which many people prefer.

A little coconut water adds a hint of sweetness and roundness. This smoothie is ideal on hot days or after a workout, when you want something cold and light.

Bartender tips

  • Organic cucumbers can be blended with their skin; otherwise peel them.
  • A squeeze of lime and a few mint leaves make it even more refreshing.

Variations

Blend in 5 to 6 fresh mint leaves.
