Strawberry Apple Smoothie with Banana

Taste

Frosty and fruity, sweet strawberry flavour with fresh apple and a creamy banana base.

About this smoothie

Fresh strawberries give the smoothie its bright pink colour and sweet-tart flavour, and they are known for their vitamin C. Red apple adds juiciness and a crisp freshness, banana creaminess and natural sweetness. Ice cubes blended in make the drink frosty, almost like a light slush.

It is a very simple, family friendly smoothie that works best in strawberry season. On hot days it is a refreshing alternative to ice cream or lemonade.

Bartender tips

  • Instead of ice, use frozen strawberries for a thicker, less watery result.
  • Serve immediately, before the ice melts.

Variations

Yoghurt version
Replace half the water with natural yoghurt for a creamier smoothie.
