About this smoothie

Blueberries and blackberries both owe their deep colour to anthocyanins and both contain fibre. Blackberries are a little more tart and have larger seeds, while blueberries are sweeter and softer, so the two balance each other well.

Oat milk is naturally slightly sweet and creamy, which makes it a very good base for berry smoothies. With only four ingredients this is a quick, fruity drink for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen berries make the smoothie thick and cold without any ice.
  • Strain the smoothie if the blackberry seeds bother you.

Variations

With banana
Add half a banana for more body and natural sweetness.
