About this smoothie

Banana and mango are among the easiest fruits for smoothies: both are soft, naturally sweet and give a creamy texture on their own. Mango is known for its vitamin A and vitamin C content, and banana provides potassium and quick energy from its natural sugars.

Because it uses water instead of milk, this smoothie is light, vegan and very fruit forward. It is a good breakfast glass and a simple first smoothie for children.

Bartender tips

  • Use frozen mango chunks for a cold, milkshake like texture.
  • A squeeze of lime juice sharpens the flavour if the fruit is very sweet.

Variations

Creamy
Replace the water with milk or oat milk for a richer glass.
