A spoon of yogurt changes this green smoothie a lot: it turns creamier, paler and noticeably milder. Rocket and ginger are still there, but in the background.

Taste
Creamy and mildly tangy, fruity from pear and apple, with a light peppery and gingery finish.
About this smoothie
This is the rounder version of the pear and rocket smoothie. Baby spinach adds more green without much flavour of its own, and natural yogurt contributes creaminess, a little tang and some protein. Pear and apple keep it fruity and sweet enough without sugar.
Because of the yogurt it is a bit more filling, which makes it a good breakfast option. If you want it plant based, a soy or coconut yogurt works just as well.
Bartender tips
Greek yogurt makes it thicker; add a little more water if needed.
Blend the greens with the water first if your blender is small, then add the fruit.
Variations
Plant based
Use soy or coconut yogurt instead of dairy yogurt.
