About this smoothie

Orange and banana complement each other almost perfectly: the banana softens the acidity of the juice, and the orange keeps the banana from tasting heavy. Oranges are well known for their vitamin C, bananas provide potassium and natural sweetness.

The combination is popular with children and adults alike and needs nothing more than a blender and five minutes. It is vegan, filling enough for breakfast and a good choice after a workout.

Bartender tips

  • For a thicker smoothie, use a frozen banana and leave out the water.
  • A few strawberries or some mango turn it into a classic tropical glass.
