About this smoothie

Sometimes the simplest combinations are the best. A ripe mango delivers intense tropical sweetness, a thick texture and is known for its vitamin C and beta-carotene. A red apple adds a crisp, slightly tart freshness and some fibre from the skin, which keeps the smoothie from becoming too heavy or sweet.

No dairy, no added sugar: it is a light, fully plant-based smoothie that suits breakfast, an afternoon snack or a quick drink after sport.

Bartender tips

  • Choose a sweet, aromatic apple such as Gala, Fuji or Pink Lady.
  • A squeeze of lime brings out the mango flavour.

Variations

Mango apple ginger
Add a thin slice of fresh ginger for a spicy note.

Frequently asked questions

Is this smoothie vegan?

Yes, it contains only fruit and water.

Do I need to peel the apple?

No, just wash it well. The skin blends in and adds colour and fibre.
