About this smoothie

Mango and apple are an easy pairing: the soft, aromatic mango and the firmer, slightly acidic apple balance each other. Coconut water gives a subtle nutty sweetness without the richness of coconut milk and naturally contains potassium.

With no dairy and no banana, this smoothie stays fresh and fairly thin. It suits a hot afternoon, a light breakfast or a drink after exercise when you want something fruity but not heavy.

Bartender tips

  • A tart apple such as Granny Smith gives more contrast to the sweet mango.
  • Freeze the mango chunks for a thicker, colder drink.

Variations

With ginger
Add a thin slice of peeled fresh ginger for warmth.
