Banana Smoothie with Rice Milk and Raspberries

Rice milk is naturally sweet and light, so it lets the raspberries shine. Banana and a spoon of yoghurt give the smoothie a creamy body.

About this smoothie

Rice milk is a plant drink made from rice and water. It is thinner than oat or cow's milk and has a naturally sweet taste, which suits tart berries well. Raspberries bring a bright pink colour and tangy flavour, the banana creaminess.

Raspberries are known to provide fibre and vitamin C. The smoothie is light but satisfying and fits a quick breakfast or an afternoon snack.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen raspberries make it thicker and are available all year.
  • Strain through a fine sieve if you want it free of raspberry seeds.

Variations

Vegan
Use a soy or coconut yoghurt instead of dairy yoghurt.
