About this smoothie

Soy yogurt is made by fermenting a soy drink with live cultures, just like dairy yogurt. It is one of the more protein-rich plant alternatives and has a mild, slightly nutty taste that suits fruit well.

The sweet red apple carries the flavour, while baby spinach adds colour and vitamin K without tasting grassy. Thanks to the yogurt, the smoothie is more filling than a pure fruit and water version, so it works well as a light breakfast.

Bartender tips

  • Choose an unsweetened soy yogurt so you control the sweetness yourself.
  • Add 1 tbsp rolled oats for a more filling breakfast.

Variations

With banana
Add half a banana for a thicker, sweeter smoothie.
