Taste

Creamy and tropical with sweet-tart pineapple, perfumed passion fruit and a round coconut finish.

About this smoothie

This smoothie borrows its flavours from the tropics: sweet and tangy pineapple, intensely aromatic passion fruit and coconut milk for richness. Coconut milk is quite high in fat, so a small amount is enough to give body and a round, nutty flavour. A spoon of natural yoghurt adds freshness.

The result is creamy and fruity at the same time. It works as a weekend breakfast, a sunny afternoon drink or a light dessert.

Bartender tips

  • Shake the coconut milk tin well before opening, as the cream separates.
  • Drink it fresh: fresh pineapple can make dairy taste bitter when it stands.

Variations

Vegan version
Replace the yoghurt with coconut yoghurt.
