About this smoothie

Mango and pear are both sweet and smooth, and together they make a mild, juicy base. The apricot adds a little acidity and a floral aroma so that the smoothie does not taste flat. Mango and apricot are both known for beta-carotene, which gives them their orange colour, and pear adds fibre, especially with the skin on.

This pure fruit smoothie is dairy free and light, a good choice for early summer when apricots are in season.

Bartender tips

  • Frozen mango cubes make the smoothie thicker and colder.
  • Out of apricot season, use 2 soaked dried apricots.

Variations

Mango pear ginger
Add a thin slice of fresh ginger for a warming note.
