Kiwi Mint Smoothie with Fruit Tea

Kiwi and mint both taste green in the best sense: fresh, lively, a little sharp. Baby spinach deepens the colour, and fruit tea keeps it light.

Taste

Fresh and tangy with kiwi acidity, a cool mint note and a light, green finish.

About this smoothie

This green smoothie gets its sweetness entirely from kiwi, which also brings a lively acidity and a good dose of vitamin C. Fresh mint adds a cooling note, and baby spinach, mild and tender, contributes leafy greens without a strong taste. Cooled fruit tea replaces juice and adds a light fruity aroma without extra sugar. The result is thin, fresh and light. It is a good choice on hot days or as a morning drink.

Bartender tips

  • Very ripe kiwis make the smoothie noticeably sweeter.
  • If it is too tart for you, add half a banana or a teaspoon of honey.

Variations

Cucumber twist
Add 50 g cucumber for an even lighter, more refreshing drink.
