About this smoothie

Mango and kiwi are an easy, reliable pairing: the mango brings a thick texture and lots of sweetness, the kiwi freshness and acidity. Both fruits are known for their vitamin C content, kiwi especially so.

This version adds a little lime juice to the original two fruit recipe, which lifts the mango and gives the smoothie a brighter finish. Made with water, it remains light and vegan. A refreshing choice for breakfast or a sunny afternoon.

Bartender tips

  • Do not over blend kiwi; crushed seeds can make the smoothie slightly bitter.
  • Frozen mango chunks give a thicker, colder smoothie.

Variations

With mint
Add a few mint leaves for a cooler, more summery flavour.
