About this smoothie

Green apples such as Granny Smith are crisp and tart, and with kiwi they create a smoothie with clear, lively acidity. Both fruits keep their fresh green colour, especially if you add a few drops of lemon. Kiwis are well known for their vitamin C, and the apple skin adds fibre.

This smoothie is vegan and light. It is a good wake up glass in the morning or a refreshing drink on a warm day. If it is too sour for you, add a teaspoon of honey.

Bartender tips

  • A few ice cubes make the tartness taste even fresher.
  • A teaspoon of honey or half a banana balances the acidity if needed.

Variations

Green power
Add 15 g baby spinach for a deeper green colour.
