About this smoothie

Cucumber consists mostly of water and has a clean, mild flavour, which makes it an ideal base for refreshing smoothies. A green apple adds crisp acidity, fibre and a little natural sweetness. Peppermint tea instead of water brings a cooling herbal note without sugar or caffeine. The drink is very low in calories and works almost like a spa water with more body. It fits hot summer afternoons or a light start to the day.

Bartender tips

  • Organic cucumbers can be blended with the skin, which adds colour.
  • Chill all ingredients beforehand for maximum refreshment.

Variations

With lime
Add 1 tbsp lime juice for a zesty, lemonade-like note.
