Blue curaçao and golden pineapple meet in the shaker and come out a glowing sea-glass teal. Peach and orange lead the flavor, a squeeze of fresh lemon keeps it from turning into candy.

Glowtini
Taste
Sweet and fruity, with peach, orange and pineapple up front and a clean citrus finish. Medium strength and silky from the pineapple.
History and origin
The Glowtini comes from the world of theme park bars rather than classic cocktail books. It was served at restaurants and lounges at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, where it is associated with the resort's Year of a Million Dreams celebration, and it became known for being served with a small light-up cube in the glass.
In style it belongs to the family of sweet, colorful vodka martinis that became popular in the 1990s and 2000s: a vodka base, a fruit liqueur or two and juice, served up in a cocktail glass. The home version drops the light-up gimmick and replaces bottled sweet and sour mix with fresh lemon and syrup.
Bartender tips
Fresh lemon juice makes a clear difference here compared with bottled sour mix, which tends to taste flat and overly sweet.
The color depends on the balance of blue and yellow: more pineapple makes it greener, more curaçao makes it bluer.
For a party, batch everything except the juices ahead and add juice just before shaking.
Variations
Glow-in-the-glass
Easy twist: serve it with a food-safe LED ice cube, as the resort did, for the full glowing effect.
